An Inauguration Day of Rejoice and Gratitude

January 20, 2005 is truly a day of rejoice for all Americans. The candidate who garnered the most popular votes...3 million more than his opponent...will be inaugurated today as President of the United States.

We may not be happy with the results, but we should never take for granted the great privilege of a free vote. We may be a divided nation as to wise and prudent choice of presidents, but we can and must be united in respecting and celebrating the continued functioning of our democratic system. We again unite in deep gratitude for the wisdom and vision of our forefathers.

The peoples' will is being done. Democracy works. Praise God.
