"Culture of Life" Is a Red State Loser

Goodness knows I have no intention of aiding and abetting George Bush and his greedy, corrupt administration. But this is bugging me....

The phrase "culture of life" is a loser for Bush. "Culture" is a blue state word. It smacks of museums, symphonies and colorful, incomprehensible paintings. It sounds suspiciously like something connected to the National Endowment of the Arts. It sounds French, for God's sake.

Such is hardly red state territory. Red staters recoil at the word "culture."

I like to think that the Bush posse is finally slipping in creating super-clever monikers to hide their motives and goals. Until now, they've been the hands-down champs of slick sound bytes.
